1. The distribution of horizontal roots of fruit trees ranges from 1 to 1.5 times the crown of the fruit tree, that is, at the edge of the canopy projection. Therefore, the position of applying base fertilizer should also be at the edge of the canopy projection. The application of basal fertilizer also has certain requirements for depth. The roots of apple, peach, plum and other fruit trees generally have a shallow distribution of about 40 centimeters; pears, grapes, and other fruit trees have a deep root distribution of about 80 centimeters. The depth of fertilization should be determined according to the depth of the root distribution. The deep rooted fruit trees should be dug properly and the shallow rooted fruit trees should be shallowly applied.
The spraying of KH2PO4 on fruit trees during flowering period can promote the differentiation of flower buds, which has obvious effect on yield increase. In the initial flowering and young fruit stages, potassium dihydrogen phosphate is sprayed once. According to different varieties of fruit trees, it is sprayed with water according to the amount of potassium dihydrogen phosphate on the packaging bag; 2 to 4 times of phosphoric acid can be sprayed during the fruit enlargement period. Potassium dihydrogen can play a role in promoting fruit coloration.
