Description

Trilostane blocks enzymes involved in the production of several steroids (including cortisol). Inhibit the inhibition of cortisol production. In Kexing syndrome, the adrenal gland produces too much steroids. Although steroids are important to the various functions of the body, too many may cause problems. Trilostane reduces the amount of steroids produced by the adrenal gland.

 

Trilostane A drug that interferes with the natural synthesis of steroids and is used to treat breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Brand name is Modrenal.

 

A short - acting adrenocorticotropic hormone inhibitor for oral administration of dogs. Trilostane prevents the adrenal gland from producing too much steroids. Although steroids are important to the various functions of the body, too many may cause problems.

Usage

Trilostane can inhibit corticosteroids during the synthesis of 3β dehydrogenase, which reduces cortisol and aldosterone synthesis and is used clinically for the treatment of Cushing's syndrome (hypercortical hyperlipidemia) and primary aldosteronism. The product has a significant effect on serum testosterone levels.

 

Application
