However, in recent years, domestic DR equipment manufacturers have repeatedly broken through key technologies, such as independent research and development of DR detectors, breaking through image stitching, tissue equalization, exposure area inspection and other technologies in image post-processing technology, using GPU acceleration algorithms to speed up image transmission rates, etc. It broke the monopoly position of foreign manufacturers in the DR field, filled the gap in domestic technology, and greatly increased the possibility of domestic equipment entering the high-end market.
After more than ten years of development, the current domestic market share of imported equipment is about 70%, and the market share of local manufacturers is about 30%. This pattern is still changing quietly. Domestic medical device manufacturers such as Anjian Technology, Shenzhen Mindray and China Resources Wandong are accelerating the pace of monopolizing foreign companies.
Under the policy environment of “new medical reformâ€, the government departments such as the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Science and Technology have invested a large amount of special funds in the research and development of DR equipment. At the same time, China will give priority to purchasing domestic medical devices in the procurement of medical devices. During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, China will effectively guide medical institutions to use domestic medical devices by means of economic means.
Among the centralized procurement projects carried out by the Ministry of Health, the winning equipment is mainly made in China. Experts predict that in the future market competition, the domestic and foreign brands in the Chinese medical device market will continue to change the high-end and low-end DR equipment market share, domestic DR will become the domestic DR industry protagonist.
