Modern clinical studies have reported that the mantle is made into preparations for the treatment of gastrointestinal bleeding and has a significant hemostatic effect. Other reports have demonstrated anti-tumor, anti-aging, hypoglycemic, and hypolipidemic effects, but have no toxic or side effects on normal cells. There are also inhibitory effects on typhoid bacillus, dysentery bacillus, staphylococcus aureus, and eight-legged cocci.

Distribution area

The mantle is native to southern China and Vietnam is also distributed. Various provinces and regions in the south of the Yangtze River in China, including Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Hunan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Guizhou, and Hong Kong have natural distribution. In Zhejiang Province, except for the northern Zhejiang Plain, there was no other. Hainan Province also has a distribution.
