Recently, the BBC reported that studies have pointed out that women who consume relatively less meat products have a lower risk of endometritis. According to a paper published by the University of Milan's professors' research group, women who eat meat every day have a 100 times higher risk of endometriosis than those who eat less meat and eat fruits and vegetables.
The group of professors surveyed 500 women with endometritis and 500 normal women, and counted the amount of meat, dairy products, fruits, and vegetables that they consumed in a week, and reached the above conclusions. According to the results of the survey, women who regularly eat beef, sausage, or other meat products have an 80-100% chance of getting sick. Those who eat more fruits and vegetables have a 40% chance of getting sick.
However, the professor group also stated that further research is needed on the relationship between diet and endometritis. What other foods can prevent the disease and which foods can aggravate the condition need to find out the exact evidence.
