Is it possible to grow the golden groovy soil?

The summer management of Cyclamen is divided into the summer management of the old ball and the summer management of the new ball in the first year. Flower culture medium soil expert Jinbao now introduces the technical points of kiwifruit summer management as follows:

1. Summer management of Cyclamen's old ball

As the temperature rises, the leaves of the flowering cyclamen gradually wither and become yellow. At this time, it is necessary to reduce the amount of watering and turn it into a dormant state of bulbs. After the branches and leaves are withered and the pots and soils are dried, they can be placed in a shaded place for ventilation, but the basin soil should not be dried excessively to prevent the bulbs from drying out. Through the summer dormant bulbs, after the beginning of autumn, a small amount of watering can be started to keep the basin soil moist, but not too wet, because at this time the roots of the old ball has not yet made good. After October, when the weather turns cold, yellow leaves can be removed. Premature temperatures are high, and picking leaves can easily cause rot in damaged bulbs. When the buds begin to germinate, the old ball can be poured out of the basin, strip the old ball around the soil, replace the new soil, change pots, and new soil. We recommend that the majority of flower growers use commercially available Kampo-based soil starter fermentation. The fertility of the soil is good, and it is breathable and economical. When the old ball is planted, the spherical surface should also be exposed to 1/3 of the earth surface. At the same time, it must be irrigated with water. Afterwards, it should always be kept moist. Tear loose soil once in twenty days and then loosen soil once again. Do not hurt the roots when loosening the soil. The cyclamen blooms in the old ball, and the flowering period is generally late. The number of flowers is higher. Three years after the old ball, the growing momentum fades and the bulbs are perishable, so the old ball should be abandoned after 4 years.

2. Summer management of the new ball in the first year of Cyclamen

Cyclamens are generally planted in September and October. In the first to second months of each year, the young plants are planted in 3-inch pots when they grow to 3-5 leaves. When the bulbs are planted, the tops of the bulbs are slightly exposed and the potted soil does not have to be compacted. Spray water twice after the seedling, and then keep the topsoil moist. Apply nitrogen once a week to make the leaves grow thick. From March to April, the temperature is warming, and the cyclamen has more hair leaves. It is advisable to replace the 5-inch pot with the top of the ball showing 1/3 of the soil surface. After spraying the pots, spray water twice to make the potted soil wet, and then watering to keep the topsoil moist. At the same time, the management of fertilizer and water was strengthened and nitrogen fertilizer was applied once a week. The temperature rises at the end of April and should be shaded when the sun is strong at noon to prevent the leaves from yellowing. Later, as the temperature continues to increase, bulbs and leaves are perishable, and conservation management must pay attention. From May to June, the cyclamen must be evacuated from the greenhouse and placed under an outdoor rain-protected scaffold to keep it growing in a cooler, cooler environment. During the hot weather from July to August, the bulbs are perishable, must be shaded and ventilated, and must be protected from rain. Do not allow bulbs to be exposed to rain and decay. Because summer temperatures are high, fertilization can easily cause decay of bulbs. Therefore, fertilization is stopped for 2 months from the end of June. After the beginning of autumn, the temperature is lowered and fertilization can be resumed. The cyclamen should be moved into indoor management in late October and bloom in November. In the first year, the new ball will generally bloom 15 months after sowing. In the first year of the cyclamen, the new ball blossomed early and generally bloomed in November and December. The old ball blossomed in December. Take appropriate measures to control the flowering period. If budding, move to a higher temperature, and maintain a certain humidity can bloom in advance, but the temperature should not exceed 18 °C is appropriate.
